Pilgrimage to Rome for Canonization

Witness and Celebrate the Canonization of Bl. Mother Marianne Cope and Bl. Kateri Tekawitha

The canonization will be braodcast live and local stations are airing special documentaries and presentations. Local airing times are:

CANONIZATION MASS on EWTN

Pope Benedict XVI will canonize seven individuals including Blessed Marianne Cope, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Syracuse, N.Y., and Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, a 17th-century Mohawk girl who converted to Catholicism and died at the age of 24. The Mass will air live on Sunday, 10/21/2012 3:30 AM and will reair at 11am.

Three local specials/documentaries are being produced and will air on the following dates:

The Saints of Upstate New York - a one hour documentary will air on YNN (Time Warner) on October 20 and again on October 21 both at 8pm.

Saints Among Us, a one hour special presentation will air on 9WSYR on October 19, 9-10pm and will stream live on their website, www.9wsyr.com.

Central New York's Saint: The Story of Saint Marianne Cope will premier on:

November 22 on WSTM NBC3 at 6pm

November 23 on WCNY (PBS) at 8pm

November 24 on WTVH at 7pm

November 25 on WSTQ at 9pm

November 26 on CNY Central Digital at 8pm.
