Catherine Diana, LCSW, has over 25 years of clinical experience specializing in sexual abuse and currently maintains a private practice working with adult male and female sex offenders. She has also been a part-time trainer on sexual abuse at Fordham University for 14 years. In 1993, Ms. Diana developed an on-campus residential program for adolescents at LaSalle School in Albany and served as the Director of the Huntington Adolescent Safe Options Treatment Program in Syracuse. She also contributed to the development of specialized treatment programs for adolescents with sexual offending behaviors at Elmcrest Children’s Center.
Ms. Diana has presented over 200 workshops and seminars on various topics related to sex offenses and has served as a consultant both nationally and internationally on adolescent sex offending behaviors and programming issues. She has volunteered her expertise with several organizations, including the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center’s Advisory Board, the Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment Committee, the Sex Abuse Study and Treatment Team (SAST), the Onondaga County Family Court Judges’ Committee, and the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office Child Abuse Response Team (CART).
Ms. Diana holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Syracuse University.
