The Advisory Board of Mother Marianne's West Side Kitchen at St. Joseph/St. Patrick’s Church in Utica is seeking a dedicated individual who would be willing to accept the position of Director of the Mother Marianne’s West Side Kitchen. The position will require regular and consistent (but not necessarily daily) support of the volunteers, insuring that the process of preparing and providing meals to our guests is consistent with Dept. of Health regulations, ordering and picking up of food and other supplies, ensuring a clean and sanitized environment for all, regularly reviewing facility to ensure a safe, comfortable and welcoming facility, recruiting and training new volunteers, and working closely with the Board to ensure continuity of quality and loving service to our guests. A small weekly stipend will be provided to the director, but the reality is that this is a work of love, a ministry for someone who wants to give back and to help those who are less fortunate. Summary:  All Saints Parish is a progressive, growing parish of about 450 families, located in the extended University neighborhood.  As an intentional parish we draw parishioners from both the local area and from distances.  We are a diverse parish, home to a large community of Black Catholics as well as Hispanic families. Congolese Refugees/New Americans comprise about one third of our parish. Our Faith Formation Program involves approximately 120 children and youth.  Our Faith Formation program offers Sunday classes, Children’s liturgy of the Word at Sunday Masses, occasional Family Gatherings, quarterly Children’s liturgies, and sacramental preparation.  We are in the process of re-forming a Youth Ministry/Faith Formation program for our Junior and Senior High School Students.
