In 2008, the Diocese announced the receipt of an extremely generous bequest from Robert and Catherine McDevitt. They directed the funds support specific ministries as well as the purposes, and objectives of the HOPE Appeal.
Parishes are eligible to apply for a McDevitt Grant to in support of a parish operated Food Pantry. The funds will support the purchase of food items. The funds are not intended for support capital needs, employee compensation, or other overhead costs.
