Totus Tuus is a summer Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, discipleship, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship.
The mission of Totus Tuus is to inspire in young people a true longing for holiness, a deep desire for daily conversion, and an openness to their vocation by constantly challenging them to give themselves entirely to Christ through Mary and by continually strengthening their prayer lives in imitation of Her.
Totus Tuus hires young adults who are passionate about their Catholic faith to serve as summer missionaries and collaborates with parishes to offer week-long parish mission programs designed to teach and inspire children and youth.
Totus Tuus missionaries are carefully selected and trained by the diocese in the Totus Tuus curriculum and mission. The parish commits to providing host homes and meals for the missionaries during their time at the parish. Missionaries provide their own transportation. Pastors and parish staff work with Totus Tuus to ensure a smooth and successful parish mission week. Learn more about our missionaries, or invite someone to apply to serve as a missionary here.
Children going into 1st - 6th grade are invited to attend the Day Program at Totus Tuus. This portion of the program runs Monday through Friday from 9am – 3pm during the mission week at a parish. For the children, Totus Tuus combines solid teaching in the Catholic faith with fun activities to create a joyful and engaging program. Additionally, the week includes daily Mass, opportunities for Confession, and Adoration. The last day of the program is finished with water games and other exciting activities!
Youth going into middle and high school (7th - 12th) are invited to attend evening sessions that meet Sunday through Thursday from 7pm – 9pm. This portion of the program is comprised of fun games, faith testimonies from the missionaries, short lessons on the faith, small group discussions, prayer, and fellowship. Tuesday night is reserved for Adoration and Confession and the final evening is nothing but fun and fellowship!
